I'm a little disappointed not to see Cobi Jones name on this list, but seeing that he's probably reached his peak (I hear the word retirement batted about lately), it's really no surprise. This is mostly a team of unknowns, and probably the best thing going for them is that they will gain the experience that they will require to propel US Soccer into the realms of international contention in upcoming World Cups. The Dream Team that was Cobi Jones, Alexi Lalas, Eric Wynalda, Marcelo Balboa, etc. has come and gone with no World Cup to their name. This new younger team has potential, let's just see where they go with it. Bruce Arena is taking a gamble here, I think. At the time of this posting there are exactly 38 Days 3 Hours and 41 Minutes until World Cup Germany 2006. I'll be watching, will you??? (Pointing ominously at camera!)
